In this group game, where listening is key, one player is designated as Simon and all others must do as Simon Says. However, the phrase “Simon Says” must come before the command. If Simon does not say “Simon Says” players should not follow the command. Players that follow commands without hearing the required phrase will be out of the game.
Simon is not allowed to give commands that cannot be followed by his or her players or that are impossible to be followed.
The winner of the game is the last one left standing!
Some versions of this game include adding a “yellow light” command meaning that players would move slowly. This command would allow for learning of movement control and attention to directions.
