Cheryl Tallman and Joan Ahlers

Cheryl Tallman and Joan Ahlers are sisters, the mothers of five children, and founders of Fresh Baby (www.FreshBaby.com). Raised by parents who love fresh foods and entertaining, their mom, a gourmet cook, ensured that they were well-equipped with extraordinary skills in the kitchen. Both with long track records of business success, they decided to combine their skills in the kitchen with their knowledge of healthy foods and children to create Fresh Baby.

Cheryl’s background as an executive and entrepreneur provides a great foundation for her role as CEO of Fresh Baby. Cheryl also heads up product development and co-writes the company’s newsletter, Fresh Ideas, with Joan. Her expertise was demonstrated at Touchscreen Media Group (TMG), an Internet consulting firm which she founded in 1992. Cheryl's active involvement at Touchscreen included positions as CEO, COO, and Business Development. In January 2000, she completed the sale of TMG. In addition, she has seven years of sales experience at IBM and a degree in Biomedical Engineering. She lives in Petoskey , Michigan with her husband, Roger, and her son, Spencer.

Joan’s background in sales is a perfect fit for her role as the company’s Director of Sales. She is also actively involved in product development and co-writes the company newsletter, Fresh Ideas with Cheryl. Joan holds a Bachelor’s degree in business. She lives in Los Alamos , New Mexico with her huband, Gary , and her four children, Madison , Jordan , Greg, and Sienna.
